Product detailed description
At the Peñas Blancas farm in Colombia’s Huila region, this coffee is produced with meticulous attention to the coffee cherries and the extensive experience of Nestor Lasso and Jhon Vergara. Alongside producing specialty coffee, they support local farmers through education, modern infrastructure, and transparent collaboration. Thanks to this, they are able to produce high-quality coffees with a clear sense of origin.
Peñas Blancas is not only a farm but also a project supporting local producers. Shared infrastructure, technical education, and thorough quality control help smallholder farmers produce specialty coffee to a higher standard while also gaining more stable access to the market.
This microlot of Caturra and Castillo varieties grows at an altitude of 1,650–1,800 m a.s.l., where it develops pronounced sweetness and clarity. It is naturally processed, resulting in rich fruitiness, pronounced sweetness, and a full body.
You can enjoy Colombia Peñas Blancas at our café in two different roast profiles. The espresso roast features juicy notes of ripe mango and banana, complemented by the sweetness of orange and a delicate cocoa finish. The result is a sweet, full-bodied, and beautifully balanced espresso with a long aftertaste.
