Product detailed description
Ireme means “authentic” and was created by Gasharu Coffee as an effort to offer the most sincere expression of Rwandan coffee. At Gasharu, they believe that the grower and the consumer do not stand at opposite ends of the process, but that a natural connection can exist between them from cultivation through processing. Ireme therefore represents a coffee that carries the character of its place, its people, and the careful work behind it.
The Gasharu team pays close attention to fermentation and its duration so that the coffee can reveal depth, clarity, and pleasant complexity. In the cup, this approach shows in an elegant and juicy profile with notes of nectarine, black tea, and bergamot. The coffee feels delicate and clean, yet still has enough layers and vibrancy to remain engaging from the first sip through the finish.
