KAFEEE DECAF Mexico - nespresso kapsle

Product detailed description
In capsules, you’ll also find a decaffeinated version of Mexico Santa Fé—a microlot from Mexico’s Sierra Madre de Chiapas region, specifically from Finca Santa Fé. The coffee ripens at an altitude of around 1,200 m a.s.l. in the milder, more humid climate of the southern Mexican mountains. The varietal base is Catimor (valued for its yield and resilience) and Catuaí (a compact, productive variety widely grown across Latin America).
The caffeine is removed using the water decaffeinated method (water decaffeination)—gently and without chemical solvents. The principle is that caffeine is released into water, while flavour compounds remain in a so-called saturated coffee solution; the caffeine is then separated using carbon filters.
In terms of flavour, it’s a pleasant classic: sweeter, lightly syrupy, with notes of kola nut, maple syrup and dried dates, and a calm, long finish.
For our capsules, we select the same coffees you’ll also find in our whole bean range.
The capsules are compatible with the Nespresso® Original system. Made from renewable materials and fully compostable. If home composting isn’t available, the best option is to dispose of the capsules in general waste, not in bio-waste (brown bins).
One pack contains 10 capsules.
