Product detailed description
Kabogo, translated from the Kihavu language as "stream" or "brook," refers to the natural richness of Idjwi Island in the Congo. Water from local streams powers a small hydroelectric plant and also supplies the Ngula Washing Station, where the beans are processed. Inspired by traditional Kenyan practices, the double-washed method of prolonged underwater fermentation ensures that each cup has a clean profile with subtle notes of dried fruit. The resulting body is creamy, while the taste itself is lightly reminiscent of black tea.
