Product detailed description
Colombia Peñas Blancas from the Huila region stands out for its vibrant fruitiness and tropical character. In the cup, you'll find notes of coconut, lemongrass, banana, and delicate chocolate. The flavour is full-bodied yet clean, with a long, sweet aftertaste. It shines best as a filter brew, where its layered complexity can fully develop.
This coffee originates from the village of Acevedo, situated at an altitude of 1,600–1,900 metres above sea level. It consists of the Caturra variety, valued for its balance and reliability. Processing takes place at the Peñas Blancas centre, which provides farmers with access to modern equipment as well as educational and technical support. The project is led by Néstor Lasso and Jhon Vergara, two producers who are dedicated to promoting quality and sustainability in the region.
