Peru Kuntu washed
Product detailed description
Peru Kuntu coffee comes from the Moyobamba region and is the result of the work of the relatively small Aproeco Cooperative. Coffees from this region are known for their exceptional balance, natural sweetness, and mature complexity of flavor.
The cooperative brings together around 300 small-scale farmers and their families from the Moyobamba area. Many of them live in the hills of the mountain rainforest and rely primarily on subsistence farming. On their small farms, they produce only limited quantities of coffee, from which the cooperative lot Kuntu is created after strict quality control. The coffee is grown in accordance with the principles of sustainable agriculture and proudly carries an Organic certification. The result is a remarkably consistent coffee that carries a little greeting from the farmers of the mountain rainforest.
Peru Kuntu is processed using the washed method, which enhances clarity of flavor and a delicate structure. The cup offers a pleasantly sweet profile with notes of Brazil nuts and rooibos, complemented by the sweetness and gentle fruitiness of persimmon.
